The following items may impact some clients. For those who are impacted, please check the date by which they will need to be reviewed and rectified. Enrite recommends creating a sandbox to enable the relevant changes and performing the necessary regression tests.
What’s Changing?
In Salesforce Spring '25 release, users with the Sales Engagement Basic User permission set will no longer have access to Einstein Activity Capture. Previously, admins could grant access to this feature through a permission in the Basic User set. Now, users will need the Standard Einstein Activity Capture permission set to continue using it.
What Does This Mean?
If you’re using the Sales Engagement Basic User permission set, you’ll need to update user permissions to make sure they can still access Einstein Activity Capture. This change applies to users in Lightning Experience on Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions with Sales Cloud. Be sure to update permissions by January 1, 2025.

What’s Changing?
Support for the Enhanced Email Experience in Account Engagement will end with the Winter '25 release. While you can still use it, if you run into issues, there won't be any support to help fix them.
What Does This Mean?
To avoid problems, we recommend gradually adopting the new email experience. Alternatively, you can use the Classic Email Builder, however it may require HTML knowledge but still works if you prefer the features of this builder.

What’s Changing?
Salesforce is replacing JDK locale formats with ICU locale formats for dates, times, currencies, and numbers. This update will be enforced in Salesforce Spring ’25 release but can be deferred until Summer ’25.
What Does This Mean?
ICU formats provide a more consistent experience across Salesforce and improve compatibility with ICU-compliant applications. Orgs created from Winter ’20 onward already have this enabled, so no action is needed for them.

What’s Changing?
Salesforce is decommissioning support for instance-specific URLs in API traffic. If your API requests use URLs with an instance name, they must be updated to use your My Domain URL instead. This change applies to Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic (not available in all orgs) in Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.
What Does This Mean?
From April 1, 2025, sandbox environments will no longer support instance-specific URLs, followed by production environments on June 14, 2025. To avoid disruptions, update your API requests to use your My Domain URL before these dates.

What’s Changing?
After Salesforce Spring ’25 Release, Salesforce will require users to verify the return email address in My Email Settings to comply with stricter email security standards. This change applies to Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic in all editions except Database.com.
What Does This Mean?
Unverified return email addresses will no longer be able to send emails. Users must manually verify their email by selecting Resend Verification Email in My Email Settings and clicking the link in the verification email. If the resend option is unavailable, the email is already verified.
