About STaR
Special Teaching and Research (STaR) is a Not-for-Profit organisation dedicated to providing inclusive learning opportunities for people with disabilities across early years, school-aged and post-school settings. Their Special Educators collaborate with educators and support workers, providing professional development, coaching and mentoring services. The primary objective of their organisation is to embed research evidence into practice and contribute to the evidence base in special and inclusive education.

STaR faced difficulties maintaining accurate and up-to-date data due to their largely paper-based system. Their manual processes were cumbersome, with information dispersed across non-searchable formats. STaR’s enrollment process was inconsistent and heavily reliant on paperwork, making information sharing challenging. The Results
By partnering with Enrite and leveraging Salesforce Non Profit Cloud, STaR was able to significantly optimise their data flow, from managing Referrals and Enrolments to tracking Case Outcomes. Enrite’s implementation empowered STaR to gain deeper insights into their data, improving team collaboration and enabling more effective communication strategies.
